QUIZ stores the minimum data needed to play. When you sign in with Apple or a magic link we keep your account id, email, and chosen display name. When you play, we record per-game scores and the IDs of questions you have seen so we can avoid repeating them. If you generate AI avatars, the source selfie is processed once for stylization and is not retained after the four stylized images are produced.
We don't collect contacts, location, advertising identifiers, or third-party analytics. There are no in-app trackers in v1. Guest play does not require an account and only stores an anonymous device-local identifier.
User accounts, scores, and saved settings are stored in Supabase (Postgres). Avatar images and audio name-clips are stored in Supabase Storage. Question content lives in the app bundle and on the server. We do not sell or rent any of this data.
Avatar generation calls OpenAI's image API. Voice rendering calls ElevenLabs. Both receive only the input needed for the request (selfie bytes for avatars, display-name text for voice) and are subject to their own privacy policies. Authentication uses Supabase Auth and Apple ID where applicable.
QUIZ is rated 12+. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has signed up, contact us at the address below and we will delete the account.
You can sign out at any time from the profile screen. Account deletion is available in-app under Profile → Account → Delete account; deletion removes your scores, avatars, and voice clips within 30 days. You can play as a guest indefinitely without any server-side account.
